Law, accounting, consulting & coaching

Marketing for law, accounting, consulting and coaching firms —
better inquiries, answered faster.

Law, accounting, consulting and coaching practices rarely have a lead problem. They have an intake problem — the wrong inquiries reach a partner, and the right ones arrive after hours and are never called back. We build the site, the search visibility and the intake automation that sit between an inquiry and the first real conversation.

Where firms actually leak

Eight ways good work goes uncontacted.
None of them are the expertise.

These are not marketing failures. They are intake failures, and they happen between an inquiry and the first real conversation. Three are specific to law firms, three to coaching and consulting practices, and two are true of every advisory firm — accounting included.

In law firms

01

After-hours intake is lost

The person who has just been served, just been audited, or just decided to leave their employer is rarely calling at 2pm on a Tuesday. They call at 8pm, and they are unlikely to be calling only one firm.

Fixed by AI chat and phone intake — captured on arrival, handed to a person with the details already taken →
02

Unqualified intake burns the team

A partner's hour spent on a matter you would never take. Then another one. The cost of that is invisible because nobody bills it.

Fixed by automation — matter type and fit qualified before it reaches you →
03

Consults that no-show

Booked well ahead, forgotten by the time it comes round, no confirmation, no reminder, and an hour of a senior person's calendar gone.

Fixed by automation — confirmations, reminders, intake taken before the meeting →

In coaching & consulting practices

04

Discovery-call requests go cold

They filled the form on Thursday. First contact was Monday. The urgency that made them fill it in had gone by Friday.

Fixed by automation — acknowledged when it arrives, the call booked while they still want it →
05

A lead magnet with no follow-up behind it

The guide gets downloaded. Nothing happens next. The download was the interest, and it was treated as the finish line.

Fixed by automation — a nurture sequence behind the download →
06

Proposals go out cold and stay cold

Sent, opened once, never mentioned again — because chasing your own proposal feels like begging and nobody built anything to do it for you.

Fixed by automation — proposal follow-up that isn't you →

In every advisory firm — law, accounting and consulting alike

07

Invisible in AI search

"Employment lawyer in Indianapolis", "fractional CFO for a construction company", "accountant for a dental practice" — increasingly answered by a model reading pages. A site that is a bio and a phone number gives it nothing to quote.

Fixed by SEO & AI search visibility
08

No attribution

Referrals, directories, ads, content, the speaking gig. Ask which one produced this quarter's retained clients and the answer is a story, not a number.

Fixed by CRM & reporting — each inquiry tracked to a source →

The expertise is not in question. The gap between an inquiry and a human being is.

What we’d build

What we'd build for a firm like yours.

In the order we’d build it, not as a package. Most firms start with intake — and you don’t have to do all of it.

01Attracts

Website & practice-area pages

A site that reads like the firm — sober, specific, and clear about what you take and what you do not. Practice-area and city pages instead of one services page covering nine matters.

See websites in detail →
02Attracts

SEO & AI search visibility

Plain-language pages that answer the question a prospective client actually types, so Google ranks them and a model has something of yours to cite. Written from what your partners already say on calls.

03Retains

Intake follow-up & nurture

An inquiry, a proposal or a lead-magnet download gets chased without anyone remembering to do it. Consult confirmations and reminders too, with intake details collected before the meeting instead of during it.

04Measures

CRM & intake reporting

One intake pipeline. Each inquiry in the same place with the same fields, so conflicts and capacity are visible before a partner's time is spent — and one monthly report says which source produced which retained client.

See CRM & reporting in detail →
05Answers

AI chat intake

After-hours inquiries captured and qualified, never advised. It records who is asking and what it is about, then hands to a person.

06Answers

AI phone intake

The 8pm call answered, the matter type and contact details taken, the consult booked into your calendar. It does not advise and it does not comment on the merits of anything — it hands the caller to a person.

By practice type

Three practices. Three different first moves.

The fixes are the same across professional services. Where they bite first is not — so here is where each kind of practice usually starts.

01

Law firms

Intake is the whole funnel. The matters worth taking and the matters worth declining arrive through the same form, at the same hour, and both consume the same partner time until something sorts them. Consultations that no-show are the most expensive empty slot in professional services, and confirmations and reminders are the cheapest fix on this page. On search, practice-area pages beat one services page — "employment lawyer" and "estate lawyer" are two different searches and two different clients.

Usually starts with intake, then practice-area pages
02

Accounting & advisory

The intake has the same shape as a law firm's: an inquiry arrives, someone senior decides whether it is worth taking, and that decision costs partner time whether the answer is yes or no. "Fractional CFO for a construction company" and "accountant for a dental practice" are questions a model answers by reading pages, so a site that is a service list and a phone number gives it nothing to quote. And when you ask which source produced this quarter's retained clients, the answer should be a number rather than a story.

Usually starts with one intake pipeline, then attribution
03

Coaching & consulting

The discovery call is the product demo. Everything before it — the download, the form, the DM — exists to fill that calendar and is usually left to run on its own. A lead magnet with nothing behind it is a list you are paying to build and not using: the sequence is the asset, not the PDF. And proposals need a follow-up that is not you, on a schedule you set once, so the chase stops depending on how you feel about chasing.

Usually starts with follow-up behind the form and the download

We write the automation ourselves

Most marketing agencies don't write the automation themselves — they configure a platform somebody else controls. We write it. When something breaks, we open the code.

See how that's built →

Custom workflows and integrations, written for the practice they run in.

No law-firm project is published yet. When one is, it will be on this page with a name on it — we don't borrow one engagement to stand in for another.

Where to start

You don't have to do all of it.

Most firms start with one of two things: the inquiries that arrive after hours and are never called back, or the partner time spent on matters you would never take. Tell us which one is costing you more and we’ll build that first — including the parts you can skip.

The call is 30 minutes. The visibility check doesn't need a call at all.

Questions we get

What partners and principals ask us first.

Is client information kept confidential?
Handling client information means getting the details right. On the audit call we'll map exactly how information flows and is protected before anything goes live.
Can it give legal advice?
No — and it must not. It handles intake only: it captures the matter, flags conflicts, qualifies fit, and books the consult with an attorney. The advice is always yours.
Can it coach, consult, or write my proposals?
No — that's your genius. It captures the inquiry, qualifies fit, and books the call so you show up to warm, ready leads. The relationship and the work stay yours.
Will it turn away work we would have taken?
It qualifies against rules you set on the audit call — matter types, jurisdictions, minimum engagement size, conflicts you already know about. Anything outside those rules goes to a person, not to a bin. The default we build to is: when in doubt, escalate. You would rather review the inquiries you did not want than lose the one you did.
Will it work with our case, practice or client-management software?
The rule is the same everywhere: if your software exposes an API or a supported integration, we wire it. If it doesn't, we say so on the audit call and build around it rather than asking you to replace software your team already knows. In this category that usually means Clio for legal work, QuickBooks on the accounting side, and HubSpot or Calendly for advisory and coaching — and we'll confirm yours before anything is promised.
Are you replacing my intake staff, paralegals or VA?
No. It takes the after-hours and overflow intake so your team spends its time on qualified matters and on delivery, not on screening inquiries that were never going to sign.
My brand is personal — will this feel like me?
It's trained on your voice, your offers, and your qualifying questions, and it hands off to you the moment a conversation deserves you. It protects your time so you can be personal where it matters.
How do we stay visible without publishing constantly?
Depth beats frequency in this category. A small number of pages that genuinely answer what a client asks in the first few minutes of a call will out-earn a weekly post nobody finishes — those are the pages that rank, and they are the pages a model quotes. We usually build them from what your partners already say on calls: transcribe it, structure it, publish it. Most firms already have the content, sitting in their own conversations, and are trying to invent new topics instead.
How fast until it is running?
Most projects go live in weeks, not months. First we train it on your practice areas, your offers and your qualifying rules; then you test it on real inquiries and we tune it; then it goes live on your number and your inbox.
What if it doesn't work for us?
No lock-in. Month-to-month after setup, the audit is yours to keep whether you hire us or not, and you'll see a plain-English report every month — so if it isn't working, you'll know first, and you can walk. We'd rather earn the next month than trap you in a contract.
